Creating Props [& Other Jobs]
Once I'd completed the puppet and set that I was assigned, I moved on to creating props to dress the sets with. Below I've documented the making process of each individual prop in no particular order. All of these were made with the use of 1:1 prop or a reference image.
Above: A gas mask to be placed in Frederick's bedroom.
Above: Finishing touches of burnt holes to Frederick's rug made by Jasmine.
Above: Creating a deflated football with the used knife beside it.
Above: A home-made crossbow to lean against Frederick's desk.
Above: A Moka Pot for the kitchen. I saw this particular prop in 'Fantastic Mr Fox' and thought it'd be a good challenge to try and make one for our own film.
Above: Repainting Finnan's old prop to suit Frederick's room.
Above: Lamp for Frederick's desk with a working bulb circuit.
Above: Test shots with Elena's dissected bird.
Above: Creating a beaded curtain for the hallway.
Above: Puppet additions.

Creating Kitchen Utilties:
Amara handed over the job of creating the facade of the oven and washing machine as she thought I'd be suited for creating the fiddly bits. Below you can see the original items and the modified, finished ones. I decided to use the structures as a base, but deconstruct and rework the additional panels.
