Group Decisions on the Film

I thought I'd make some quick notes here from our last group discussion about some of the smaller logistics within the film; the voiceover and the opening/end credits.
The Voiceover:
We all agreed that we wanted a voiceover with a German accent, so we've recruited Lukas for the job. I think we may edit the sound file to create a deeper, older sounding voice, but Lukas has the perfect accent for the role.
It was at a later point that I came up with a link between the voice actor and the narrative; the voice will belong to the Doctor. The idea is that the Doctor is meeting up with an old friend for a drink and he is retelling "The Story of Cruel Frederick". We're planning to pay Lukas in beer to get the slurred, casual voice.
The Credits:
Having come up with "Spinal Crack Productions", I've taken on the job of making the animated logo for the opening credits. I've proposed an idea to the group of a spine scuttling onto the screen, creating a circle and then the text appeared within that circle - they've approved so I'm going to draw the illustrations by hand but animate it digitally. I'll make a separate blog entry covering this process and the outcome.
Another idea we had was to have the Doctor in the end credits, something like him sitting on a bench in pitch black darkness smoking a cigarette - he puts it out on the bench and says [for example] "The End", thus revealing that the voiceover throughout the entire film was in fact the Doctor [as he doesn't speak during it].
It's a nice idea but whether we actually do it will be decided at a later point - it might be a little bit tacky, there could be a better way to reveal the owner of the voice.
